A Stranger to Love plot
Family man Allan (Beau Bridges) becomes the victim of a crime, in which he loses his memory. Shortly afterwards, the body of a man who looks just like Allan is found in the river. His wife and children, who have lost him of course, think Allan is dead. Allan himself, meanwhile, walks into the arms of another woman, until someone from his old life recognizes him.
