Moonshine Mountain plot
Doug Martin is a country & western singer who returns home to the mountainous countryside of Carolina. He becomes involved with two families who illegally use alcohol together. He falls in love with Laura Carpenter, a member of one of the families, even though he is already engaged to the urban Della Lawrence. Things get horribly out of hand when the corrupt sheriff invites Della to a lake together...
