Marion (Melissa Gilbert) and Frank (Bruce Boxleitner) run a sanatorium in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Slowly, Marion sees her husband change from an ideal husband into a brutal inhuman. She and her husband's mistress hatch a plan to kill him, but then the villainous Frank appears to return from the dead.
