AUN: The Beginning and the End of All Things plot
Not intended as an art film according to the director, but as a work of art in the form of a film. AUN is a representation of elements from the philosophy of Claude Lévi-Strauss and Japanese Shintoism and rejects the artificial separation between man and nature. The idea is that due to the Enlightenment and the elimination of religion, man is no longer able to feel and only takes what can be seen as true. But nature is the origin and creator of everything, the film argues, and humanity would do well to strengthen its bond with nature and spirituality for its own survival.
