Taxi! plot

Matt Nolan and Pop Riley are New York taxi drivers who, like other independent taxi drivers, are oppressed by a large taxi company run by Buck Gerard. When Pop Riley's taxi is deliberately rammed by a truck containing Buck Gerard's accomplice, he shoots the accomplice and is subsequently arrested. His daughter Sue witnesses it. After the trial of Pop Riley, Matt and Sue get to know each other. Matt does everything he can to win Sue, but in the meantime he also wants revenge on Buck Gerard.
