Breaking Blurp.

The long five-part Twilight is almost at an end, gnawing the question of whether I'm slowly getting dull or whether this part is really better than the previous one. What is certain is that the few positive points are so striking that they receive a disproportionate amount of attention. Charlie's jokes at the wedding, the song at the end credits, and yet another cameo-esque short but fun evil Michael Sheen - and this time on the list again on IMDB. Well, if they already record the 'unsavory man' four times, then Aro can no longer be forgotten by itself.

More annoying than ever, though, is the laborious over-hormonal stuff of the boys and the disgustingly gruesome-traditional morality that Meyer injects into everything as if it were manure - where this is not very noticeable in parts 1 and 2, it gradually gets worse and to nauseating. And very bad, given the vulnerability of the target audience to this kind of idiocy.

The film also follows the usual pattern - far too long, far too little content. Just a few minutes at the beginning, a few minutes halfway through and just before the title role - that's all you really need to get the whole story. It's a waste of my time that I actually finished it all. But, the good news is that my flu seems to be almost over. A half liter of O-negative in a moment, and tonight one last bit of Twilight to chase away the last bacilli.

Fourth installment in the Twilight Saga, the sequel to Eclipse (2010). Cinematography: many outdoor scenes during the wedding and the trip. Their honeymoon reminded me of The Blue Lagoon (1980). Music: first half romantic swoon music, second half exciting and ominous. Cast: same as previous parts. I thought Bella played a little better here than the previous parts, but I still don't think she's really good.

Plot: The first half of the film is about the marriage and honeymoon of Bella and Edward. Love is finally (suggestively) consumed, but with dark consequences. Funny scene: Edward doesn't know his own strength, so the housekeepers had some tidying up to do! Due to health concerns, Bella and Edward return early from their trip and the werewolves hatch a plan. The end of part 2 was very bloody and slightly creepy......

Well, now only Breaking Dawn part 2 left...... and then we've had the whole series!

Bella [Kristen Stewart[ and Edward [Robert Pattinson] get married in the run-up to the conclusion of this unmemorable Twilight series. Jacob [Taylor Lautner] is furious when he discovers that Bella and Edward had sex before her 'change', because it has deadly consequences! Things only get hotter when Bella turns out to be pregnant. And it soon becomes apparent that this is not a conventional pregnancy. The ultra-conservative undertone of this metaphor for teenage sexuality reaches its lowest point by dragging in the abortion issue. The previous films were sometimes good for a chuckle, this time it mainly results in annoyance. As the title suggests, it is mainly a prelude to what the grand finale should have been, making the story even thinner than before.
