Schlafkrankheit plot

The film revolves around development worker Ebbo Velten (Pierre Bokma) who runs a center for African sleeping sickness in Cameroon. His wife (Jenny Schilly) wants to return to Germany, to their 17-year-old daughter who is in a boarding school there. Ebbo must choose between his life of freedom in Africa and his loved ones in Germany.
