Der Teppich des Grauens plot
From India to London there is a chain of crimes committed by criminals on behalf of diamond traders. In England, for example, Robert G., a secret service agent, dies from an Indian poison. Ann Learner finds her uncle, a decryption expert, who was killed in the same way. Harry Raffold meets Ann and they decide to solve these mysterious cases together. Both are now in constant danger themselves. One day, while using the guest house of Harry's former fiancée, they meet Mabel, and from her they learn who the man behind the crimes is. Mabel pays for this with her life, but Harry and Ann are finally on the trail of the criminals.
