Little Birds plot
"How far would you go?"
Two 15-year-old girls Lily (Juno Temple) and Alison (Kay Panabaker) live on Salton Sea, a heavily polluted lake in the middle of a California desert. What was once an oasis for the wealthy is now a ghost town of gypsy caravans, abandoned hotels and beaches, strewn with dead fish and birds. When the girls meet three older Los Angeles skaters David, Jesse and Louis, Lily persuades Alison to steal a car and follow the boys to the "City of Angels." Once there, they find themselves in a world of petty crime and everything turns out not to be as rosy as they expected.
