Couple James and Amy Deakin are secretly filmed 24/7 in their home, on the street and at their workplace by a mysterious stalker. This stalker subtly uses the information from the footage to manipulate the unsuspecting couple, leaving cracks in their relationship. When Amy suddenly disappears, James doesn't know if she's been kidnapped or simply left him. As the tormentor's actions become increasingly violent, James desperately tries to figure out who is behind the terror in order to save his wife. But the stalker always seems to be one step ahead of him.

A nice movie. I don't understand the low ratings. The movie is quite well developed. That you don't know the motive of 'the stalker' is not important. Better said, he is just crazy. And quite crazy too, as is evident from the end. The story is just how do I make James crazy. If you watch the movie you will know how ?.
Acting is not great, but it can pass. Story is original, maybe not very realistic, but nicely invented.
Definitely recommended for thriller fans

A fairly short film, but it didn't really need to be longer.
A simple, yet effective story. The film didn't have to rely on ghosts or anything, it all seemed a bit more realistic. The cast didn't do a bad job.
I didn't have any expectations for this movie, but I didn't think it was bad.

After the downright bad Trucks last night, I got to work on this 388 Arletta Avenue and hoped for some reasonable horror, but unfortunately it wasn't in the cards last night.
There is little introduction where we are immediately in voyeur mode with the focus on the address and its inhabitants. The next step is of course sneaking in and placing surveillance equipment where the games can start with strange things. Until then, 388 AA is mainly a bit strange and slightly alienating but far from special or good because the whole thing up to there is mainly a bit bland and tasteless. It is a dry story by means of images that does not release much. But there seems to be change in the air with the disappearance and the possible skeleton from the closet around Bill Burrows where a score could possibly be settled.
And where 388AA seemed to be following a psychological course with small things and the feeling that something is not right, the whole thing takes on a more intense tone with the stranger on camera, the apparition in the bedroom that is filming the sleeping James and the not exactly pleasant fate of the cat. Why do cats always have to pay the price in these kinds of films? But then there is little continuation of the chosen course and it even becomes predictable with the hostility towards his sister-in-law that irrevocably works against him plus the discovery of the body and suspicion of murder, although I expected the latter to be a bit more subtle with evidence and not this ad hoc ending.
In the end, 388 Arletta Avenue has an interesting concept that is then hardly used. Perhaps the director intended it that way and wanted the psychology to speak for itself without embellishment, but for me it is too little where the film really lacks tension and atmosphere. Therefore, not sufficient as far as I am concerned.
