Gladiator Games plot

England, the year 1066. On the eve of what would become the greatest battle of the medieval period, Willian meets the Duke of Normandy, Vidr, a mysterious traveler, who invites him to play a game of 'Claang', a game similar to chess. When Vidr talks about the legendary origins of this game, he talks about Tyr, a very old leader who, like William, is about to risk everything in a battle that everyone believes is impossible to win.
