Shiro (Shion Sono) and Keita make a living delivering newspapers. All their friends went to college three years earlier, and that leaves the 2 alone. Passing the entrance exam is the biggest problem. Shiro, on the other hand, is more interested in finishing a super-8 movie that the two started a few years earlier. But Keita doesn't share Shiro's enthusiasm, and still feels the pressure to pass the exam. Keita's life is put under further strain when he learns that his ex-girlfriend Kyoko is returning from Tokyo for a visit.
