The Kid from Cleveland plot
Baseball fan Johnny Barrows sneaks into the Cleveland Indians stadium during the 1948 World Series. He claims to be an orphan and befriends the team's players and announcer Mike Jackson. However, Johnny has a difficult life at home and gets involved in criminal activities. He only shows his better side when he visits the baseball team.
