It Happened in Hollywood plot
"Hollywood Turns the Camera on its Own Gay, Glamorous, Glittering Self!"
America, late 1920s. Western actor Tim Bart stars in silent films. Bart is adored by the youth everywhere. However, that changes with the advent of sound film. Bart does not pass the voice tests for various characters. In contrast to his co-star Gloria Gay, who has a natural talent and turns out to have a voice, which is suitable for mainly glamor roles. The film studio offers Bart to limit himself to playing gangsters and bank robbers. But he refuses to play these bad characters because of his young fans. Bart's career spirals downward, while Gloria's film career flourishes. Bart decides to leave Hollywood. Bart changes his mind at the urging of his young fan Billy.
