"We are all..."
The film consists of three stories that represent an aspect of love: seduction, dreams and adventure. In the first segment, an introverted clerk uses all his savings to paint the city red. He ends up in bed with a woman, but unfortunately she is only interested in sleeping. In the second story, a waitress dreams of a singer. He doesn't want her, so she goes for an army doctor, who proposes to her. However, she is shy and flees into the arms of a charming gypsy. In the third story, an orphan ends up in a garden party, where he is treated like an old friend by the rich guests. He meets a beautiful woman. The next day he can't find the garden, his new friends and the woman.
