Northern Iraq, 2003. Two weeks after the fall of Saddam Hussein, twelve-year-old Ahmed is traveling with his grandmother. When she heard that prisoners of war had returned alive in the south, she became determined to find her son Ibrahim, who never returned from the Gulf War. Hitchhiking, Ahmed travels with his grandmother through Iraq devastated by war.
