Jewelry designer Ted Noten is known for his cheeky jewelry. Are they portable? Not necessarily. Are they provocative? Absolute. A series of transparent bags containing a gun, or a chameleon, or a line of coke with a pearl necklace. At first glance, Noten appears to be a man of brutal gestures. But is he just provoking or is there more to it? The documentary is an intimate portrait of an artist who unexpectedly throws his golden formula overboard and faces the future with openness and daring. But first he goes to Chicago for a reunion with the jewel that once made his international breakthrough: a mouse with a pearl necklace, The Princess.
