Vrienden voor het Leven plot

The documentary focuses on the three old gabbers Jantje de Sloper, Verbrande Herman and Rooie Jos. This threesome was followed by camera for five months. Director Roy Dames was very close to them and made a realistic inside story about people who want to get their lives back on track, but often fail to do so. The individual interviews provide insight into the ideas and future expectations of the men who frequently had to deal with crime, probation, divorce and unemployment in their lives. Sequel to the documentary Ik Ben Jantje.
