The Furious Force of Rhymes plot

"4 Continents, 7 Nations, 1 Music, Hip-Hop."

Director Atesh Little explores the roots of hip-hop and in particular its rebellious and socio-political character. Where hip-hop in the American ghettos arose from the discontent of the youth and the agitation against institutions, this is hardly the case today, if at all. Today, the really powerful hip-hop charges against the system take place in ghettos outside the United States, such as in Senegal, Germany, Israel and France.
