This is the story of a twelve-year-old girl named Malia who is kidnapped in Sudan and sold into slavery. Six years later, Malia is sent to work in London by the Sudanese family who own her. Here she is put to work as a house slave. Her new owners withhold her passport and threaten her and her family to keep her there.
