The Kentuckian plot

"Hunter...Frontiersman...Adventurer!"

In the year 1820, the young widow Elias Wakefield and his son move from Kentucky to Texas. Along the way, they take up residence with Wakefield's older brother and his wife, who want to talk them out of their adventurism.
