Philadelphia, Here I Come! plot

Young Irishman Gar prepares to leave a small community. His apparently insensitive father is one of the reasons he doesn't like it anymore. The plan is to go to his aunt in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and move in with her. There is little to read from the outside of Gar, but the Gar 'inside' tells the viewer the naked and sometimes hilarious truth. Packing his bags, he ponders his relationship with his father, his frustrated teacher, his superficial friends and his loving housekeeper.
