Lucien and Mario Franchi are conjoined twins who are separated by a professional doctor after their parents are murdered by the tyrannical Corsican leader Colonna. Mario goes to Paris and becomes a real gentleman, while Lucien goes to the mountains of Corsica and develops into a real bandit. After twenty years, Lucien and Mario meet again in Corsica. Both brothers hate and fight each other because of the irresistible Duchess Isabelle Gravini.
