Le Maître-Nageur plot

In Roubaix, Marie, a girl of Italian descent, who sees all her dreams come true, meets Marcel, a charm singer. She tries to seduce him, knowing that he is the man of her life. A marriage soon follows. Marie has the ambition to become rich and searches for the best means to acquire a large fortune. Marcel leaves his modest repertoire and tries several different professions. In the end, he becomes a savior in the pool of the billionaire Zopoulos.
