Vigilante Terror plot

The town of Pinetop is terrorized by masked vigilantes secretly led by saloon owner Brett. Local mine owner Gene Smith is Brett's right-hand man. After a robbery on a gold transport, Lucy Taylor's father Matt is deliberately accused. Tack Hamlin arrives in Pinetop to meet his old friend Strummer Jones. Driven by a sense of justice, Tack and Strummer prevent Matt Taylor from being hanged by the vigilantes for his alleged involvement in the gold theft. However, Lucy Taylor has evidence showing that Brewer and his outlaw gang are the culprits. Meanwhile, Brett falsely accuses Tack and Strummer of theft and assembles the vigilantes to lynch them both.
