In 1599, the Duke of Milan, Prospero, is deposed by his younger brother Antonio and banished to an island with his daughter Miranda. Prospero fills the years on the island with meditation and study. The 24 books that his friend Gonzalo managed to smuggle in give Prospero a magical power. He develops a scenario in which, mixing fantasy and reality, he wants to achieve his return to Italy through an act of revenge. However, the pain and sorrow caused by Prospero's feelings of revenge make him realize his mistake. In the struggle between evil and good, vengeance and reconciliation, it is forgiveness that wins.
