A Scream in the Night plot
A bar owner and his cousin in Singapore acquire a rare ruby called 'The Tear of Buddha'. But a ruthless criminal manages to steal it and also kidnaps the niece. Two detectives try to track him down, but one of them dies. The remaining detective looks exactly like the bar owner and goes undercover that way.
