Sieben Sommersprossen plot
Fourteen-year-old Karoline and fifteen-year-old Robert, who used to live in the same house, meet again at a holiday camp. A tender love affair develops between the two, but the strict division in the camp places certain limits on contacts. Some teachers have little sympathy for the young lovers and other young people do not like the constant togetherness of Robert and Caroline. It quickly comes to petty intrigue and jealousy. When the infatuated group leader Benedikt proposes to rehearse Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet' as the closing act, the summer camp director immediately sees this as a moral threat and a general risk.
