Dichter bij Tanja plot

Autumn 2007. A video appears of a young Dutch woman who has joined the Colombian guerrilla movement the Farc. Her diaries are also found and published in fifteen languages. Tanja Nijmeijer is going to be big news at home and abroad. In her diaries Tanja openly criticizes the Farc and fears for her life. What possesses a girl from Twente to burn all the ships behind her and join one of the most violent guerrilla movements in the world?
