It has been 100 years since the Titanic sank and now the second Titanic is ready for its maiden voyage. But along the way, a tsunami sends a giant iceberg into the sea. This one is right on the route of the Titanic 2, so the crew and passengers will have to do everything they can to not go down, like the first Titanic.

It's great to see the creators so enthusiastic about the first installment and breathing new life into it. I don't think they intended to top anything; they simply threw in a submarine and a helicopter and tried to create a thrilling ride. Although the special effects are abysmal and the cast is rather mediocre, I wasn't really annoyed at any point. It was actually rather laughable (for example, those long shots of the boat). Towards the end, it even improved a bit, and that drowning was quite captivating. That doesn't change the fact that it was a flop due to all its shortcomings.

I don't understand the low rating here; I think it's a beautiful/exciting film! Okay, the original Titanic is 3 hours long, and this one is 90 minutes. In this film, everything happens almost three times as fast as in the first one. Everything goes by quickly, there's plenty of suspense, and a satisfying ending. It's a shame the film ends abruptly at the end, but overall, it's definitely a good enough film.

A ridiculous concept, of course, with ridiculous decisions and developments throughout the film just to create some "exciting" scenes. Unfortunately, it doesn't get so bad that it's good again, because far too little happens for that to happen. The Asylum's approach is familiar: either take the story of a well-known film or invent a ridiculous monster (Sharknado, Mega Octopus, Hydra...), and make a predictable story out of it with the smallest possible budget. With really, really bad special effects, and not exactly good actors either. In the case of their monster films, this can sometimes be entertaining, but in Titanic II, it's very sparse. Predictable action scenes, all set indoors (because that's cheap), most of which are ripped straight from Titanic and other disaster films, and occasionally some really bad CGI with icebergs, large boats, and waves. Oh well, it was still entertaining occasionally with a clear head, and at least those turkey points are in.
