Perils of Nyoka plot

Professor Douglas Campbell, on his expedition to the hills of Libya, finds a papyrus scroll containing information about the hiding place of the 'Golden Tablets of Hippocrates'. These tablets contain long-lost medical secrets. Also in the region is the brave and ambitious Nyoka Gordon, who is looking for her missing father, who had taken part in a previous expedition. Only she can translate the text on the papyrus scroll. The translation leads to perilous adventures, such as the 'Tunnel of Bubbling Death' in the land of the Tuaregs. Campbell, Nyoka and their guide Abu continue their quest against formidable enemies such as Vultura, 'Queen of the Desert' and her Arab ally Cassib with his three violent henchmen Ahmed, Batan and Hassan.
