Catene plot

Convinced that his wife Rose has cheated on him with a former boyfriend, Guglielmo kills his rival and flees to America. But there he is arrested and deported and in order to acquit him his wife declares that she has not committed adultery and thus provides him with a good alibi. The lawyer explains to Guglielmo about Rose's sacrifice and in doing so he manages to save his wife from suicide at the last minute.
