Sans Laisser de Traces plot
Nearly 40-year-old Etienne is on the cusp of becoming CEO of his company, but he wants to clear his conscience about an injustice he committed early in his career that launched him. Convinced by his childhood friend Patrick, he seeks out the man he wronged at the time in order to compensate him. But things get out of hand and the man is killed by Patrick. Etienne tries to pick himself up, but his life slowly turns into a nightmare. He is harassed by Patrick and questioned by the police. The harder he resists, the worse he gets cornered. He can no longer and realizes that there is only one solution left…

French crime thriller about a successful businessman who is now less fortunate. The clear story is not wrong and remains entertaining but does not bring depth. The ending is well chosen.

Entertaining.
It is a shame that the film has a number of forced plot twists and the drama part is not sufficiently explored. With a little more background of the characters and a more natural storyline I would have found this one hell of a movie!
Unfortunately, it remains somewhat superficial. Nevertheless, a nice viewer. Great actors and well shot. 6/10*

A reasonable average thriller with a structure / setting that we have seen before, and certainly better. Still, I didn't have any big sigh moments, so it stuck well enough. In the beginning you have to step over the implausible point that Etienne just goes along with Patrick's idiotic idea to visit the man of the invention and tell everything, because his reaction was of course completely human. Patrick seems to play a double role in this , but that turned out not to be the case. So that's a little thin. The ending is also a bit too sweet, but all in all a great snack.
