Target of Suspicion plot

Nick Matthews (Tim Matheson) is a naive American scholar who more or less accidentally develops a very popular perfume. He goes to Paris to supervise its European distribution and has a brief and innocent encounter with model Julie Dormoy (Noémie Kocher), who is later assaulted and murdered. Matthews is immediately the main suspect.
