Wait Till the Sun Shines, Nellie plot
Seville, late 19th century. Ben Halpen opens a barbershop in Sevillinois and sees with sadness that the city is developing rapidly. Ben thinks he would do well to shield his wife Nellie from the outside world. Nellie eventually revolts when Ben is called up as a soldier to fight in World War I. However, Nellie makes a fateful trip to Chicago, which puts a lot of strain on her marriage to Ben.
