Henri 4 plot
France, 16th century: Protestants and Catholics fight for their land and power. At the head of the Protestants is Henry of Navarre who leads his men in the fight against Paris, the Catholics and against his mother's great rival, Catherine de Medici, Queen of France. Catherine de Medici offers Henry the hand of her daughter Margot as a sign of reconciliation, but the marriage ends in bloodshed. Henry survived the 'St. Bartholomew's Day of Massacre' but is held captive in the Louvre. When he escapes after 4 years, he changes his religion 5 times and does everything he can to get to the throne.
