Strafbataillon 999 plot

On the Eastern Front in World War II, a German battalion fights against Russian soldiers and partisans. But this is no ordinary battalion. These are soldiers who have been punished by the 'High Command' for crimes such as 'ordering retreats'. These men are now being abused and mistreated by their commanders, digging useless trenches under enemy fire and sending them on suicide missions. And the enemies of these Germans are everywhere...
