"Searing Sahara-Hot Adventure!"

An oil company plane, with pilot Mike Monahan, Brooklyn mechanic Jim Evans, telegraph operator Bill Larson and oil expert and alcoholic Syd Barlow, is forced to make an emergency landing over the Sahara desert. The foursome find a German tank from the Second World War. Evans manages to repair it and the four men want to take the tank to a post of the French Foreign Legion. Barlow, meanwhile, finds hidden gems in this tank and he doesn't tell the others about it. When the water runs out, the quartet drives the tank to the nearest oasis, which is also home to an Arab Bedouin camp at the time. These Bedouin recognize the tank as the place where they hid jewels stolen from the rival Kalifa tribe during a sandstorm. The Bedouin, led by the violent Mustafa el Melik, do everything in their power to regain possession of the jewels.
