"If you thought growing up was hard, meet Charlie Conrad..."

Brothers Charlie, 19, and Ben, 14, suddenly find themselves on their own after the death of their mother. Charlie decides to put aside his college opportunities to devote himself to Ben's education. It is difficult, but brotherly love pulls him through. Then, at the cafe where he works, Charlie meets Jordan who is passing through. Jordan is Charlie's first love, and even though Charlie has accepted his homosexuality, a first love is strange. Especially since Jordan has quite a few secrets and is much freer than Charlie. That causes quite a few problems, also in the relationship between Charlie and Ben. Suddenly their alcoholic father is also at the door, luckily he has been sober for a long time. Charlie has a hard time with the fact that his father, who abandoned them long ago, suddenly wants a place in their lives again. It is not an easy period and it remains to be seen how this will all turn out.
