L'amour dans le sang' describes the life of actress Charlotte Valandrey. The young Anne-Charlotte Pascal, who later took the name Charlotte Valandrey, was discovered by Dominique Besnehard in the early 1980s and her breakthrough came with the film 'Rouge Baiser' by Véra Belmont. For this performance she received a Silver Bear in Venice and was nominated for a César, the most prestigious film award in France. With only one film to her name, she was an example to many others.
