Exam plot

"How far would you go to win the ultimate job?"

A group of eight talented candidates have passed a final test and can now become part of a powerful yet mysterious organization. They enter a room with no windows and are given eighty minutes to answer just one question. However, there are a few rules that they must follow or they will be disqualified; they are not allowed to talk to the principal, the armed guard at the door, daub their questionnaires, or leave the room. Time goes by, and the client disappears. The candidates look at the papers that should contain the questions, but to their surprise they are blank. Together they decide to find out what the question is, but because they discover each other's background, tensions run high.

Watched this psychological film once and thought it was good. Despite the fact that the film only takes place in one room, it still managed to captivate from start to finish. You also remain intrigued as to what the question might be. The final answer was a bit like "is this it now", but in the end it was a good idea.

The cast did a good job and other than that it looked good.

Maybe all a bit far fetched, but I thought it was an entertaining film.

Nice.

A bit surprised by the fame of this film. Had actually never heard of it, but it's almost 1000 votes anyway, so it's not just a small genre film. Now it is also true that about 10 years ago these kinds of films received a little more attention, still strange that this one completely passed me by.

Luckily still able to catch up. Thought it was a pretty cool movie. Nothing really special, it all remains a bit too well-known and well-known for that, but the execution of this mystery/thriller is still fairly flawless. Especially for one that only takes place in one location (with the exception of the short opening segments).

Acting is nice, the mystery is maintained throughout the film and the tension is also quite good. For a higher score, the audiovisual could have been just a bit more expressive and the ending could have been just a bit more fun, but otherwise nothing to complain about this movie. Entertainment guaranteed.

A film that fits in the same vein as Cube: a minimalist setting, and a problem that has to be solved by a group of people, where the question is exactly what the problem is and to what extent one should work together. Movies like this always taste good to me and this one is no exception.

So the film is set in one room, but the room itself in a way plays the leading role and undergoes the necessary transformations so that it doesn't become too boring visually. Furthermore, the necessary psychological games that make the plot also manages to captivate. In the end, it's not all very deep, but it's entertaining. The fact that there is talk of a pandemic in the film, makes this film just a bit more charged if you watch it like me during this Covid pandemic.

3*.
