Alza la Testa plot

Mero, who works in a port, is a single father. His son Lorenzo, who grew out of his relationship with an Albanian woman, is his only reason to stay alive. Mero dreams of his son becoming a famous boxer. After all, Mero was also active as an amateur boxer. He subjects his son to rigorous training, in which he teaches him techniques and how to protect himself. But then Lorenzo's mother returns, throwing the relationship between father and son out of balance.
