Lang Zai Ji plot

Lu Chenkang (Joe Odagiri) is a soldier under the command of his good friend General Zhang Anliang. Just before winter sets in, the general is seriously injured. Lu is asked to take command. The situation leaves him with no choice but to seek shelter in a village belonging to the mysterious Harran tribe. Here he discovers a beautiful woman (Maggie Q) who is hiding there. She is a widow who was forced to leave everything behind. With her fiery nature, she tries to oppose Lu in every possible way. But in the end, against her better judgement, she succumbs to his passionate embrace. Slowly, Lu finds out that she has a strange gift. A gift that allows her to take his mind to a place where dreams and legends meet, a place where humans were once wolves.
