Villa Marguerite plot

Adèle and Etienne Grandclément can finally realize their dream: to buy Villa Marguerite, a modest detached house in the Moulins area. It is 1940, but Villa Marguerite is in a free area. One day they are helped out by Maria Müller. They befriend her and she supplies the Grandcléments with provisions. Maria becomes attached to the Villa and asks if she can rent a room there. Adèle and Etienne agree, how could they refuse this benefactor anything. Then people pass by Maria who are not very talkative and carry suitcases. Would the two realize what is happening under their roof when they see the gold and dollars…
