Rendez-vous à Bray plot
Julien, a young pianist living in Paris during WWI, is invited by his former friend Jacques to an estate in Alsace close to the front. Jacques never shows up for the appointment, but Julien is received by an enigmatically beautiful maid who serves him a meal and shares his bed... Julien, fearing that his friend has died, relives their relationship, stimulated by erotic desires that past (their both girlfriend Odile) and the present (the housekeeper) and where all kinds of guilt feelings also surface.
