Grandhotel plot
Grandhotel is a place between heaven and earth. The action takes place in a well-known hotel, overlooking Liberec. Vlasta Fleischman works there as a security guard and handyman and is also an amateur meteorologist. His greatest wish is to get as close to heaven as possible. He wants to flee the hotel, away from Liberec, away from his anything but successful life. A fool would make wings, but Fleischamann makes his own hot air balloon to fly in. After all, he is no fool... The meeting with the quiet chambermaid, Ilya, brings Vlasta back to the ground. Vlasta experiences that happiness is also possible on earth.
