Edges of Darkness plot

"The end of the world is just the beginning."

Three groups of people are trapped in an apartment complex during a zombie plague. In one of the apartments, an obsessed writer is finishing his latest story, leaving him neglecting his wife. In another apartment, a vampire couple capture a young woman because they are running out of food. They slowly drain all the blood from her body, but this doesn't go as planned. The woman carries a dark secret. A die-hard survivalist rescues a young boy and his mother from a group of zombies. She takes them to the apartment complex to shelter them and protect them from the zombies. What she doesn't know is that a group of priests are looking for the boy.
