Until the Light Takes Us plot
In 1991 some Norwegian churches went up in flames, media and police were puzzled. Around the same period, an underground scene of a new metal movement with deep dark influences had emerged. Varg Vikernes, key figure in black metal, was arrested for the fires. Stories appeared in the media, made up or not, about satanic rituals, kidnappings and sacrifices in the black metal scene. This documentary tries to tell the real story behind the music, fires and murders.
