Ishiuchi Jinjô Kôtô Shôgakkô: Hana wa Chiredomo plot
The story of the film consists of two parts. The first part shows the influence a fifth-grade teacher (Etsushi Toyokawa) has on the lives of his students during the Taisho Era (1911-1925). In the second part, we jump thirty years to the teacher's retirement reception, where his former students come to honor him. When a debilitating brain haemorrhage strikes him, a former student (Akira Emoto) takes care of his former sensei.
