Dr. Henry Henry is so obsessed with his model trains that his wife Linda feels lonely and she begins to wonder where her son, whom she adopted long ago, might be. One day she meets British hitchhiker Martin, who turns out to be her prodigal son. The two then hang out with each other and begin to bond. But Martin absolutely dislikes his mother's husband. Linda begins to fear for the safety of her husband and his trains.

A decent film about a woman unhappy in her marriage who encounters a stranger. A somewhat quirky film, as is typical of Nicolas Roeg. Plenty of good moments, but overall, it didn't quite make an impression on me. The somewhat overblown acting suits it well.
